Start Your Business 2022
The announcement of the finalists and awarding of the prizes for the 2nd year of the competition of Masaryk university students' ideas took place on 20 June 2022. In the final round, six teams of MUNI students were awarded. The jury distributed a total of CZK 360,000 among the competitors. In addition to the financial award, the contestants received mentoring from JIC and TTO experts and the opportunity to participate in a foreign exchange in Sardinia.
In the first round, all ten winners received funding to support the development of their ideas in the total amount of CZK 100,000. In the last round, six of the ten finalists were awarded – the jury distributed a total of CZK 260,000 among them. The first place for the best-fulfilled business potential went to two teams.

Martina Jemelková – S RS v pohybu (keep moving with MS)
The student used the funding for education and is about to go on a foreign exchange. She's also planning on finishing the e-book in cooperation with a graphic designer. At the same time, she is developing her own aids to combat multiple sclerosis, now in the prototype stage. Her pilot project is a diploma thesis called Evaluation of the Effects of a Combined Circle Training with Ideomotoric Elements on walking in Patients with Multiple Sclerosis.
Adam Veverka – Discover LVA
The application Discover LVA (Lednice–Valtice Cultural Landscape) was on for the entire summer after succeeding in the competition. In September 2022, 2000 downloads were recorded. The student used the funding from the competition primarily for marketing, a technical upgrade and the possibility to expand the application to cover other destinations. The successful student's further development includes a stay abroad.
